In 2024 IMS College entered in a partnership with University of Hertfordshire to offer the MBA program in Greece (an MBA aimed at younger or more mature professionals) with local support, with a view to extend the program portfolio in the near future offering more modern specialisms.

This programme is designed to recruit students who wish to study Masters level Business Administration in a flexible mode, studied off campus but with UH HBS support as well as local face to face support and expertise (through carefully identified partner institutions – in our case IMS COLLEGE).

The curriculum is designed as a generalist master programme, based on any discipline with a first degree but with little or no work experience aimed at preparing individuals for employment either related to their first-degree discipline or in a management role. The programme is designed to develop master's level knowledge and skills in business and management subjects, to enhance learners’ competence, ability and employability by building on their first degree. The emphasis of the programme is on leadership through strategic management.

The Master of Business Administration program will equip students with a critical understanding of business and management essentials, covering areas such as people management, strategic marketing, and financial proficiency. Students will develop strategic leadership skills crucial for success in the professional world, and the ability to assess organisational strategic positioning.

As a Hertfordshire MBA student, you’ll be supported by first-class facilities, including our virtual learning environment, StudyNet, which provides access to other students, lecture notes and over 100,000 e-books and e-journals.

Additionally, students will benefit from teaching and supervision by expert research-active staff, several of whom are world leaders in their field and act as consultants with leading organisations such as Roche, Camelot and BDO Hayward.

Why choose this course?

  • Make a powerful difference  to your organisation by developing a strategic, global outlook and experience in everything from accounting to marketing.
  • Expand your career opportunities  by earning a highly respected Master of Business Administration (MBA).
  • Take a life-changing professional journey  and expand your mind, skills, career potential and professional network.
  • Challenge your assumptions  and gain a critical, reflexive approach to strategic leadership and management.
  • Focus on industry best practices  through live consultancy, underpinned by cutting-edge research.

Additionally, this programme aims to:

  • deliver a contemporary, critical, integrated and applied programme of study at postgraduate level within the area of Business and Management
  • equip students with the analytical and personal skills to deal with complex issues systematically, creatively, and responsibly, and make sound judgements in the absence of complete data.
  • offer opportunities for students to demonstrate leadership and entrepreneurship in tackling and solving problems, and to act autonomously in planning and implementing tasks at a professional or equivalent level;
  • provide theoretical grounding in approaches to research, supporting a practical understanding of how established research methods can be applied to develop and interpret knowledge of direct relevance to the challenges faced by both multinational corporations and SMEs

At the University of Hertfordshire, we see your potential, we hear your ambitions and we support your future. No matter where you join us from, the aim is the same – be the best you can be.

We look forward to welcoming you into the Herts community .
