This Master's programme, run by former and current sports journalists, is designed to prepare you for an exciting career in sports journalism. You will have the chance to develop the skills to report on local and national sports events and have the opportunity to broadcast and produce your own sports content on one of our campus-based media platforms. The programme’s work placement scheme gives you the opportunity to gain practical experience designed to help prepare you for a career in this sector. Previously, students have been able to draw on experience with BBC Sport and BBC Radio 5 Live, talkSPORT and ITV. Please note that students are responsible for their travel, accommodation and general living costs while undertaking a work placement.
