The programme aims to develop reflective and competent social work practitioners who can practise safely, effectively and confidently in complex environments. The School of Health and Social Care has been validated by The Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) to deliver the MSc Social Work as a postgraduate professional award in Social Care. Students will have the opportunity to undertake two supervised and assessed practice placements in social work or social care settings during their studies.
