The Master of Studies (MSt) in Philosophical Theology enables students to undertake advanced study in a field bridging the two disciplines. Teaching is provided jointly by members of both the Faculty of Philosophy and the Faculty of Theology and Religion. Students can study the philosophy of religion and the history of either theology or specifically philosophical theology. Studies in the history of philosophical theology include the study of major philosophical works from each period in English translation. Students can choose to combine any two of the following three subjects:         Philosophy of Religion         History of Philosophical Theology         Study of Christian Theology in its Historical Context

A first-class or strong upper second-class (67% or above) undergraduate degree with honours (or equivalent international qualifications), as a minimum, in either philosophy, theology, religious studies or a closely related subject and should wish to do more advanced work in philosophical theology.
