• Master's Degrees (Laurea Magistrale): The university offers 39 Master's programs, with 16 taught entirely in English.

• Long-Cycle Master's Degrees (Laurea Magistrale a Ciclo Unico): There are 6 of these integrated programs, and 1 is taught entirely in English.

University information

European and non-European students can find all the information and the steps for applying on the International Students Admissions Information Portal or go straight to the application portal.

Annual tuition fees and installments can be calculated using the online simulator on the same portal.

English proficiency

If the chosen program is taught in Italian, a minimum English proficiency of A2 level (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages – CEFR) is sufficient.

For programs taught in English, fluency is required. Bachelor's and Master's programs require at least a B2 level of English proficiency, while the Foundation Course requires a minimum of B1 level. Please, discover more on the English proficiency required.

Italian Proficiency

If the program you’ve been admitted to is conducted in English, there’s no need for proficiency in Italian. For programs taught in Italian, however, fluency in the language is essential (Italian proficiency minimum level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages – CEFR).

For programs taught in Italian, all candidates without Italian citizenship must pass an Italian language proficiency test, to be conducted online, before submitting their visa application (if a visa is required). Please learn more about the Italian language requirements.

The courses to which you can apply for admission are listed on the website apply.unisi.it. Each course has a summary sheet which specifies the admission criteria, including the admission qualification, and any skills required. Admission to doctoral schools is regulated by separate annual calls for applications, which can be consulted on the University website. All applications for admission will be evaluated by a selection board, according to a competitive selection principle.
