Whether you aspire to launch your own start-up or want to drive change within an established company, this programme is designed for you. The MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship programme has been refreshed for 2024 entry, to provide a unique learning experience. The course will be led by WMG and taught in partnership with Warwick Business School (WBS), to bring together the best expertise in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship.

This Master’s course is for future entrepreneurs, creative thinkers, and change-makers looking to seize new opportunities. It is ideal for those with an entrepreneurial spirit, eager to create new value with solutions to commercial and even societal problems. It will also open up a range of alternative career pathways, from corporate venturing and business start-up to social innovation.

The programme is practical, with an emphasis on learning inside and outside the classroom. You'll dive into ideation, creative problem-solving, disruptive innovation, and even use cutting-edge prototyping technologies to design new products. Additionally, you'll explore the world of digital start-ups and learn about innovation-led corporate venturing.

Admission Requirements

In order to meet our academic entry requirement, you should have obtained the minimum of a UK 2:1 undergraduate degree (or equivalent).

Candidates with a UK 2:2 (or equivalent) may be accepted upon demonstration of relevant professional experience.

Students join this MSc programme from all academic disciplines, from engineering and business, through to creative arts and humanities. A good proportion of Innovation and Entrepreneurship students already have professional experience and are at the stage in their career where they want to launch their own company. Others come as recent graduates, often from an entrepreneurial family, and are looking at expanding and innovating the family firm, developing new markets and product or service lines.

Applicants should discuss their business goals and demonstrate their entrepreneurial flair in their Statement of Purpose.
