Psychology of Health and Illness (Taught)

If your interests lie in the psychology of health and illness, this MSc offers you a suite of relevant modules. The course aims to enable you to make informed judgements on complex health issues across diverse areas, and to communicate ideas and proposals effectively to diverse audiences. During this course, you will be provided with a grounding in the theory, themes, professional issues and practical skills central to the psychology of health and illness. The course contains taught components and applied assessments. It also has a strong focus on research that culminates with the final dissertation project, which will provide you with the opportunity to design and undertake an autonomous piece of research on any relevant area of psychology of health and illness.
