With a profound shift from traditional emissions-controlled liquefied natural gas to cleaner and more sustainable energy vectors such as hydrogen and ammonia, this course plays a pivotal role in preparing you for this transformative journey. Upon graduating, you'll be equipped to bridge the gap between traditional energy export methods and emerging sustainable energy vectors of the future by gaining detailed knowledge and understanding of core concepts including energy export vectors, the ability to assess environmental and energy efficient impacts, and the ability to design strategic energy export plans.
You'll develop an understanding of three critical interdisciplinary interfaces – economics and management, subsurface reservoir extraction and sequestration, and low-emissions energy generation. Additionally, you have the option to further develop their risk management skills which they can develop through elective units.
The aim of this course is to provide you with the knowledge to bridge the gap between conventional and emerging practices of energy export and ensuring that when you graduate, you are equipped with the versatility to navigate a changing and multifaceted industry.
