UMU offers B. Com (H) Accounts/Taxation specialization courses under Department of Commerce spread over eight semesters with each semester of six months. B. Com (H) is a four-year full-time undergraduate program that investigates standards of bookkeeping, monetary arranging and monetary hypothesis with a specific focus on tax assessment. The B COM(H) programme is designed as per NEP framework. If a student exits after three (3) years, he/she will be awarded B. Com Degree. This course is designed to prepare students for technical training in accounting, taxation, and finance. B. Com (H) programme is well suited for students who are passionate about commerce in accounting and taxation to build a career in the accounting and financial sector. Upon completing the course, students can work as Accountant, Finance officer, Assistant Finance Officer, Tax Consultants, Tax Specialists, Senior Tax managers, Tax Compliance Managers, Cost Estimators, Lecturers, Financial Analysts, etc.
