Physiotherapy means physiotherapeutic system of medicine which includes examination, treatment, advice and instructions to any person preparatory to or for the purpose of or in connection with movement dysfunction, bodily malfunction, physical disorder, disability, healing and pain from trauma and disease, physical and mental conditions using physical agents including exercise, mobilization, manipulation, mechanical and electrotherapy, activity and devices or diagnosis, treatment and prevention. A program of physical therapy will typically involve caregivers.Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession that is primarily concerned with remediation of impairments and disabilities and the promotion of mobility, functional ability, quality of life and movement potential through examination, evaluation, diagnosis and physical intervention. With a focus on helping patients maintain, recover, and improve their physical abilities, we prepare students to address impairments and promote mobility, providing provisional diagnosis and physical interventions.
