The most important component of graduate education is the research experience. Our goal is to ensure that students will learn to perform cutting edge biological research. Within the first semester of entering the program, students choose a research advisor from our faculty. Students then work closely with their advisors as they perform their thesis research.

Applicants must hold or be pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and must have limited or no full-time post-graduate work experience. Other English Language Requirements: The minimum total score on the TOEFL is 550 (paper-based test), 213 (computer-based test).
