Admission Requirements

Academic requirements for the MRes/PhD Business and Management programme include:
  • Bachelors degree: First Class (recommended)
  • Masters degree: Distinction (recommended) in social sciences, behavioural sciences or engineering.
  • A GMAT or GRE test score is not formally required for this programme. However, applicants are encouraged to submit one as it can strengthen their application. Some quantitatively focused disciplinary groups may request a GMAT or GRE to support the application and help evaluate candidates. However, there is no predefined threshold, and applications may be submitted without one.
  • In exceptional circumstances, we will consider applicants who do not meet the standard academic requirements but who can demonstrate outstanding research potential, a strong CV, and excellent academic references. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and we encourage students to apply even if their background does not precisely match the typical entry profile.
