The wait is over, and the QS World University Rankings: Business Masters Rankings has finally launched for the third time, and this year includes the new QS Masters in Marketing ranking. Each of the universities were ranked according to five relevant indicators: employability, alumni outcomes, value for money, thought leadership, and diversity. This year’s masters in marketing ranking includes 77 universities in total, 24 of which are based in the US, 18 in the UK, and 10 in France.

New to the QS Masters in Marketing Rankings this year is WU Vienna University of Economics and Business, coming in at 10th place with its Masters in Marketing course. The largest university of its kind in Europe, with over 23,000 students from 110 countries, WU is very international. WU’s highest scores are earnt in the employability and alumni outcomes indicators.

WU is triple accredited by EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA and is one of only six universities in the German speaking world to have this. These prestigious accreditations are awarded to schools with outstanding research output, excellent connections to the business community, and an international outlook. After graduating students of the MSc Marketing program have excellent employment options in all marketing related professional fields and sectors, and most graduates find a full-time job within three months of graduating.

9. EDHEC – Master in Marketing Management

Rising two places in the masters in marketing rankings this year is EDHEC Business School with its Master in Marketing Management. All of EDHEC’s courses are deigned to bring new ideas in global business practices and provide cutting edge, exciting courses that are relevant to the challenges facing the modern world. The course is taught in Nice, France but will be taught in English.

EDHEC gains its highest scores in the employability and alumni outcomes indicator, but also scores well for diversity. 77 percent of graduates find work outside their home country, and there are lots of on and off campus careers events to help students connect with top global companies. The business school also has a strong reputation for research excellence, and students on the master in marketing management course will be given the chance to work closely with global companies to supervise real time projects, meaning graduates are highly sought after by employers.

8. Warwick Business School (WBS) – MSc Marketing and Strategy

Rising two places since last year, the eighth best university in the world for master’s in marketing, Warwick Business School also claims third place for the subject in the UK. Originally established in 1967 as the School of Industrial and Business Studies, the school has educated alumni which now hold management positions in corporate, government, and academic institutions around the world. WBS’ MSc Marketing and Strategy course combines essential theoretical knowledge with the chance to apply this to real life business situations.

WBS scores the highest in the ranking for the thought leadership indicator. It also achieves high scores for both diversity and employability – with international members making up 97 percent of its students, and 76 percent of its faculty.

Located in the cultural, Mediterranean city of Barcelona, ESADE Business School boasts a diverse campus population of 92 nationalities overall – with a 45/55 ratio of male and female students and 21 nationalities from five continents having made up the MSc in Marketing Management Class of 2018-2019. ESADE is ranked seventh in the latest master’s in marketing ranking, receiving excellent scores across three of the indicators, obtaining an extremely high score for alumni outcomes, and its second-highest score for the employability indicator.

6. ESCP Europe Business School – MSc in Marketing & Creativity

5. EMLyon—Masters in Transformation Digital, Marketing & Strategy

Location: Paris, Casablanca, Shanghai

New to the Masters in Marketing Ranking this year is EMLyon Business School, in fifth place for its Masters in Transformation, Digital, Marketing and Strategy course. The university is very international, having three campuses in France as well as international campuses in Casablanca and Shanghai, 80 nationalities represented and 40 percent of its students international.

EMLyon gains its highest score in the value for money indicator, with the course highly focused on improving graduates’ employment prospects and transferrable skills. For example, in their second term, students get the opportunity to work on a project with a selected company, or complete a six month internship.

4. Alliance Manchester Business School – MSc Marketing

Ranked fourth in the world this year for its master’s in marketing course, Alliance Manchester Business School is the number one most targeted higher-education business institution by graduate employers, according to the High Fliers Report 2018.Manchester’s 12 month MSc Marketing course offers applicants a wide range of specialist pathways to choose from, and it even provides students with the opportunity to apply for an international exchange if they wish.

Its MS in Marketing Science program scores impeccably for four of the indicators used to compile the ranking, receiving particularly high marks for thought leadership and value for money, and earning a perfect score for alumni outcomes.

Placing second this year in the QS Master’s in Marketing ranking, Imperial College Business School also claims first place in the UK, and is considered to be one of the most respected business schools globally.
