With no change in the top 10 of this year’s chemistry ranking, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) remains the best place in the world to study chemistry. MIT is one of 107 US universities to be ranked this year.
Another US institution can proudly boast of being the only school in this year’s top 100 which didn’t feature in last year’s ranking at all. The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI), based in San Diego, is one of the largest private biomedical research organizations in the world.
The QS World University Rankings by Subject are based upon academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact (click here to read the full methodology).
