This practical course aims to prepare students for a career programming in the games industry, in sectors including mobile games, casual games, social media games, and AAA console game development. From the get-go, students will learn about developing games - mobile, casual, social media and AAA console games. Students will be guided in harnessing their creativity, build their technical programming skills, and get to grips with the software, and working practices, that are used by the games industry. This course can be studied for 4 years full-time with the third year spent on industrial placement in a video games or general computing field.
