The Mathematics Master of UdeS allows you to deepen your knowledge of mathematics. It is an introduction to research that allows you to start a specialization in one of the major disciplines of mathematics, whether in the field of algebra, analysis, digital imaging, statistics and optimization. You will usually take five courses, take part in weekly seminars, and give a few lectures during your studies which are of an average duration of six sessions (two years). You can opt for one of the three research-type pathways, with memory, or for the course-type pathway in biostatistics, without memory. The master's degree is offered in Sherbrooke on a regular basis or in partnership, on a full-time basis.
