The MPhil program provides basic research training in major areas of life science. Students will acquire the knowledge, skills, and experience required for research. A candidate for an MPhil degree is expected to demonstrate knowledge in the discipline and to discover new findings contributing to the field.

Students with a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in the biological sciences, chemical sciences, physical sciences may apply for postgraduate degree programs in LIFS.
A minimum average grade of B or above is expected for all courses taken by an applicant.
Transcripts from an applicant’s previously-attended institution(s) and two letters of recommendation from academic referees are required.
