Students will study how biomolecules, which are the fundamental building blocks of all living organisms, work harmoniously in different contexts with reference to relevant research. The curriculum is built upon courses that cover fundamental concepts and principles of Biochemistry and Cell Biology (BCB). As students progress through the program, they will take more advanced and specialized elective courses that empower them to explore and develop their own interests in life science. BCB students will also have the option of engaging in intensive practical training and research projects. The BCB program allows students to build a solid foundation in different aspects of modern biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology and genetics. It also nurtures students who are motivated to pursue postgraduate training and research careers in both academic institutions and industrial companies

Post-Secondary Qualifications: Completion of at least one year full-time study in an Associate Degree, Higher Diploma or undergraduate studies in a post-secondary institution; High School Qualifications: Completion of high school graduation requirements; and Completion of any school-leaving public examinations. Normally, a GPA above B+/80% is expected in your post-secondary studies. In addition, attainments in high school exams taken in the past will be useful information for preliminary assessments. Subject requirements include: One senior level subject from Chemistry, Biology. Interview is not compulsory.
