The Foundation Course in Global Design is an English-taught course with a dynamic, open syllabus that gives you a practical introduction to different areas of design (product design, interior design, fashion design and graphic design) in the form of projects you’ll be developing from scratch.

After finishing the course, developing your own personal project and creating your own portfolio, you’ll have the resources you need to work on every stage of the design process. On completing the course you’ll receive an IED diploma and have the necessary grounding to take an IED Barcelona Design degree course, starting in course year two.
