The Master in Textile Design - Product Research Sustainability of the Accademia Galli di Como was created to meet the emerging needs of the textile sector, looking for new professional figures who create a channel of dialogue between creative and strategic functions, and technical and productive roles within textile companies.
Those involved in designing fabrics must be able to combine the ability to work in the fashion system and the sensitivity to anticipate the times, learning to manage the characteristics of an extremely fascinating and complex material such as fabric. Each fabric, in fact, has different characteristics and continues to change over time: silk, the pride of the Como district, has been produced for millennia and is still research and transformation.
