Department of Music is classified into four majors (vocal music, piano, orchestral music, and composition) with an objective to raise professional musicians needed by the country and society, and develop qualifications as artists. The primary goal is to produce musicians balanced with theories and practices, and the secondary goal is to foster students to have ability to unify their knowledge and skills in social life through active participation in various music fields. Department of Music also strives to cultivate professional musicians through educational courses that combine theories and practices, while securing the outstanding faculty and various educational, practice, and research spaces.
