The Department of Nursing obtained authorization for a 40-person quota from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology on January 25, 2008 and was officially established at Dogye Campus on March 1, 2009. It achieved a 100% acceptance rate of state registered nurses for five consecutive years from 2013 to 2017. It also boasts a high employment rate to outstanding general hospitals, including tertiary hospitals. The department operates 10 theoretical and practical courses in order to meet the competency requirements of domestic and international nursing jobs. The department offers mentoring services, department adaptation programs, professor-student meetings, and programs in connection with the school counseling center in addition to its curricula, and also offers various scholarships, club activity support, student council reinforcement programs, and overseas language training programs for the training of talented global individuals.
