Admission Requirements
· For students to enroll in Bachelor of Nursing requires: · The completion of the high school (Grade 12) courses with a minimum grade of “C” in each course: Chemistry, Biology, English, and pure Mathematics. A student may be exempted from the Foundation Program area requirements by presenting an equivalent qualification, (IELTS or TOEFL, SAT and ICDL) or passing the challenge exam. Approval of prior learning: candidates employed in Oman with Post-Secondary (Post GED or equivalent) Diploma qualifications may be granted advanced standing based on their qualifications and a minimum of 2 years continuous work experience in a hospital or other healthcare and health services industry subject to the specific conditions of the UoB’s policies on the matter. Registered students in foundation courses shall not be allowed to register in any other credit courses unless they successfully complete all the foundation courses.
