You'll learn how to manage human resources in different organisational contexts, use people analytics and HR-related data, and develop strategies to attract, retain and support a healthy workforce.
You can tailor the course to your interests and career ambitions by selecting optional units. Topics available include employment law, management consulting, negotiation, project management, technology management, and analysing grand challenges in business and society.
In the summer, you can choose to complete either:
- a dissertation,
- a summer internship, or
- a practice track, where you'll apply theory to a real business issue and gain practical experience working with an external client organisation.
Internship places are competitive and are not guaranteed.
The course is also accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the leading professional body for HR and people development.
