Curriculum

The Bath MBA offers an innovative, collaborative and applied learning experience that reflects how modern organisations work. You will learn alongside a diverse global cohort and expert academics whose research shapes contemporary business thinking. Together, you will tackle real challenges and explore how to lead with purpose, creativity and confidence.

Learning begins in September with The Big Team Challenge, an immersive introduction that gets you working straight away with a corporate partner on a live business brief. From there, you progress through a curriculum that blends academic theory with practical experience.

Core modules include:

• B usiness Career Accelerator - Combine essential business skills, career strategy and personal development
• Developing markets and delivering value - Learn to build competitive advantage through marketing, operations, supply chain and data-driven decision making
• Navigating the future - Look to the future and gain the confidence to tackle complex challenges and seize opportunities
• Resourcing for success - Develop your understanding of people and finance, key resources vital to the success of every organisation.
• Strategic leadership in a global environment - Explore effective and responsible leadership in fast-changing environments.

A key part of the programme is our Multi-Project Suite, where you apply your learning through four live, practice-based projects. These include:

• Consulting in Action   – delivering solutions to   real business challenges
• Change in Action  – exploring the dynamics of organisational transformation
• Entrepreneurship in Action  – developing and pitching a new venture or initiative
• Integrated Project  – bringing together insights across disciplines for a corporate client

You can tailor your MBA through a range of optional units that allow you to deepen expertise in areas such as:
