The B.Sc. Nursing program of KINS, KIIT Deemed to be University aims to prepare the undergraduates with the following program educational objectives through which they will be able to:


  • PEO1. Apply nursing knowledge from biological and behavioral sciences including alternative systems to demonstrate nursing care to individuals, families and communities through application of nursing process and critical thinking skill to improve quality care.
  • PEO2. Deliver promotive, preventive and restorative health services using effective interpersonal communication skills within the framework of code of ethics and professional conduct as prescribed by Indian Nursing Council, aligned with National health policies and programs.
  • PEO3. Participate effectively in health care delivery system by virtue of leadership skills, managerial skills and need based research studies by creating awareness through health education and contribute towards self and professional advancement.


Duration: 4 years

Eligibility

Candidates must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry & Biology and English (PCBE) with at least 45% marks in aggregate. Should be between 17 and 35 years of age as on 31.12.17.
