Our vision for 2030 envisions the Faculty of Agro-Technology as the leading institution in North Sumatra, blending socio-technopreneurship to bolster sustainable oil palm industries. Our mission encompasses effective education, learning, and guidance to produce highly competitive, independent, and character-driven agricultural professionals in Agro-Technology and Agribusiness. We prioritize quality, excellence, intelligence, and competitiveness in our graduates. We foster research and innovation in oil palm plantation technologies while considering social and environmental impacts. Our community engagement programs aim to empower oil palm farmers through technology transfer. We build partnerships with oil palm industries, government entities, and farmers to develop technologies and business practices that promote sustainability and community welfare. Upholding academic democracy, scholarly ethics, professional ethics, freedom of expression, and equality in personal development is fundamental to our academic environment. We collaborate with stakeholders locally, nationally, regionally, and internationally in the oil palm sector to advance our academic programs.
