The program's mission is to carry out the threefold mission of higher education (education, research, and community service) in accounting, excelling in North Sumatra. It emphasizes delivering education through a competency-based curriculum, focusing on participatory learning processes supported by information and communication technology within national and global contexts. The program aims to develop expertise in financial accounting and auditing at both national and global levels, fostering a campus environment that is welcoming to gender, ethnic, religious, and cultural differences while creating an intellectual atmosphere as a center for accounting knowledge.
