The Master of Arts in Nursing (MAN) program of DLSMHSI prepares qualified nurses for competent nursing specialization, leadership and research leading to any of the following major tracks:
Maternal and Child Nursing
Medical-Surgical Nursing
The MAN degree requires completion of a total of 42 units – 15 units of which for basic courses, 12 units for major courses, 6 units for elective/cognate courses, 3 units of seminar in thesis writing and 6 units of thesis writing. A full time MAN student can enroll a maximum of 9 units per semester and is expected to complete the 42 units for a maximum of 7 years, including comprehensive examination, and thesis writing.

Requirements needed for enrollment:
For applicants who cannot submit the said original documents on or before enrollment, you can submit the Original Notarized Provisional Enrollment Form for you to enroll temporarily.
Requirements for Enrollment
1. Transfer Credential / Honorable Dismissal from previous school
2. Photocopy of Birth Certificate
Additional Requirements for Foreign applicants
1. Photocopy of Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) for permanent residents, native born, children of diplomats, or holders of any valid visa and Certificate of Residence for Temporary Students (CRTS) (for foreign applicants).
2. English Proficiency Result (eg, TOEIC / IELTS, etc.) or from the Institute’s Language Training & Professional Development Unit (LTPDU) (for non-native English speakers).
3. Certificate of Completion for Improving Tagalog Communication Skills (Special Filipino Class) from the Institute’s Language Training & Professional Development Unit (LTPDU).
Additional Requirements to prepare for Visa Conversion 1. Original passport with a valid tourist visa (at least one (1) month remaining).
2. Two (2) photocopies each of the passport biopage latest arrival stamp, and updated tourist visa.
3. 1 piece of a 2x2 colored picture.
4. Medical Certificate - indicating "Fit to study" (bring all medical exam results to the Industrial Clinic located at MAC Building, 3rd floor (look for Mr. Emjay).
Note: All foreign students are required to pay the $2,000.00 foreign fee upon enrollment.
