The    Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry Program   is a unique program designed to produce chemists who specialize in biochemistry. It offers three tracks: The Professional Track, the Medicine Track, and the Specialized Biochemistry Premed Track (SBPT).

Graduates of the three-year Professional Track are eligible to take both the Chemist and Chemical Technician Licensure Examinations. In contrast, those of the three-year Medicine Track and the two-year SBPT are eligible to take only the Chemical Technician Licensure Examination.

Graduates who meet the required grade and National Medical Admission Test score can pursue the Doctor of Medicine program of DLSMHSI and other medical institutions in the country.

The Specialized Biochemistry Premed Track (SBPT) is a two-year premed track that requires students to maintain the grade requirements per subject, the recommended Grade Weighted Average (GWA) by the program, and an NMAT score as prescribed by the DLSMHSI College of Medicine Program.
