By Laura Bridgestock
Updated April 16, 2024 Updated April 16, 2024Want to compare universities around the world? Seeking international study options to match your own interests and resources? Make life easier for yourself with our new University Finder tool – a searchable database of universities worldwide, with options to customize results based on your own preferences.
This new university search platform includes details of more than 4,000 universities around the world. Information provided includes data on university rankings, available courses, fees, institution size, location and more.
How does the University Finder work?
To get started, visit the University Finder landing page. From here, you can either search for information about a specific university, or create your own personalized university search, to identify institutions that match your requirements.
To find information about one or more universities you’re already interested in, simply type in the name of the university in the search box at the top right of the page.
If you want to find and compare universities which match your specifications, use the options provided to filter the database by world region, country, study level and subject.
Once you have your set of results, you can then click on each institution profile to access more information and compare universities on a range of criteria.
Need extra help making that final decision?
If you’re still undecided about where in the world to study, take a look at our country guides. These provide extensive information about studying abroad in a range of locations, including details of how to apply, costs and funding opportunities, and the visa process.
Still unsure which subject or type of course to enrol in? Check out our course guides, which offer guidance on typical admission requirements, specializations and career options in each academic field.
For help finding funding for your studies, visit our lists of scholarships to study abroad. And if you’ve still got questions, ask them in our international student forums, or join us to meet universities from the world at an event near you.
