The PhD program in Islamic Jurisprudence and its Foundations aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for research and analysis in the fields of Islamic jurisprudence and its foundations, qualifying them for academic and research work in this field, in line with Level 8 of the National Qualifications Framework. The program requires the completion of 56 credit hours, divided into compulsory courses totaling 18 credit hours and elective courses totaling 6 credit hours, in addition to the preparation of a scientific dissertation totaling 32 credit hours. The program covers various topics in Islamic jurisprudence and its foundations, such as the fundamentalist approaches, Islamic finance, the theory of punishment, the rules of Islamic jurisprudence, and Islamic politics.

If the major is closely related, the student is given remedial courses not exceeding 9 hours at the master's level, provided the student achieves a GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 to be eligible for enrollment in the program.
