BACHELOR IN LIBRARY AND INFORMAYION SCIENCES

The Bachelor of Library and Information Science program aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage and organize information in library and information institutions, qualifying them to work in various fields that require specialized knowledge in this field, in line with Level 6 of the National Qualifications Framework. The program requires the completion of 128 credit hours, distributed among university requirements (31 credit hours), college requirements (18 credit hours), and major requirements (79 credit hours). The program covers various topics in library and information science, such as information and communication technology, knowledge management, cataloging, classification, digitization, document and archive management, and information services. In addition, the program provides practical training opportunities to meet labor market requirements, qualifying graduates to work in positions such as librarians, information center managers, archivists, and other roles in the library and information field.
