− demonstrates the language skills (style, vocabulary, structures, transition signals) necessary for competent writing of professional, business and informational documents, articles and texts;

− uses methods of working with text, including searching for information in reference, specialized literature and computer networks, scientific databases, and electronic catalogs.

− uses ISO standards in the design of correspondence, observing the language, style, ethics of business correspondence;

− reports and discusses the results of scientific research at conferences, symposia and congresses;

− uses knowledge of modern methodological principles and approaches to scientific research;

− uses the forms of scientific work according to the UNESCO classification;

− characterizes fundamental and applied research, exploratory research, research and development, and experimental design implementation;

− analyzes scientific schools in the field of food technology, their theoretical and practical achievements;

− evaluates scientific and technical problems and trends in the development of food industry equipment and technology;

− generates own new scientific ideas, communicates its knowledge and ideas to the scientific community.
