Studying in the happiest country in the world!
Between the world-class mountainscapes, Northern Lights and ancient history, Norway is a top destination for the world traveler. Its capital, Oslo, is a cosmopolitan city set amongst the Oslo fjord and forests, where breath-taking nature is just one step outside the door.
But on top of that, the real reason you should study in Norway is to understand why this small country is number 1 in productivity per worker, with almost 50% more gross domestic product per hour than the UK. Studying in Norway will give you a full grasp of the Scandinavian leadership model.
At the #1 place in Norway, BI Norwegian Business School (BI) is an international business school with high-impact teaching and research, offering English-taught programs at all study levels.
BI’s relentless focus on keeping close bonds to the business world as well as investing heavily in research has set it apart as an educational institution for future leaders. With leading faculties in economics, management, strategy, marketing and finance, BI Norwegian has triple-crown accreditation – an achievement claimed by only around 1% of business schools worldwide. This positively impacts our business ties, which in turn has resulted in high employability of our students; 95% of our MSc students secure employment within 12 months of graduation!
The targeted effort to increase the quality of all our work in research and teaching over the last few years increases our ability to assert ourselves among the best in the international arena. Our rankings keep getting better and better! We are #1 in Norway, # 33 out of 95 on the Financial Times European Business School Rankings 2017 and #17 in the 40 best 'Masters in Management' programmes Rankings by The Economist. These impressive results motivate us to continue working in a targeted way to further strengthen our international position in the years to come.
Be part of an international community! Here at BI, 110 nationalities are represented on campus. All master’s degrees are taught in English (with one exception) and BI’s Bachelor of Business Administration is also taught in English. All Norwegians speak English brilliantly, and they love practicing their language skills with people from other countries, which make life easier for newcomers.
BI offers different types of scholarships for both bachelor’s level and master’s level.
