Postgraduate Overview

At postgraduate level, BI Norwegian Business School (BI) offers MSc programs, PhDs and Executive Education.

MSc specialisations:

  • Business (a leadership and business degree programme in which students may also qualify for the title of “Siviløkonom”, a well-established and recognised professional qualification in business and industry)
  • Business - QTEM Masters Network ( an exclusive Master programme in Economics and Management with an international and analytical focus)
  • Finance (a programme that provide not only the required education for a career in finance and consulting but also a strong basis for management positions in a broad range of industries)
  • Business Analytics (offers a set of knowledge and skills that blends data science with business subjects)
  • Quantitative Finance (a programme that provides you with advanced quantitative skills in finance)
  • Leadership and Organisational Psychology (a programme for students aiming for a career in strategic human resource management, consulting or individual and organisational development)
  • BI-LUISS Joint MSc in Marketing (earn two individual master degrees in Marketing while studying at BI in Oslo for one year, followed by one year at Luiss University in Rome)
  • Strategic Marketing Management ( a master's programme designed to educate market-oriented leaders for the modern economy)
  • Entrepreneurship and Innovation ( a  programme is designed to provide you with entrepreneurial skills and an entrepreneurial mindset)

Admission requirements
Minimum academic requirements for postgraduate study at BI include a completed undergraduate bachelor's degree from an accredited university in business administration, management, economics, marketing, finance and/or subjects relevant to the chosen area of specialisation

Tuition fees
Average tuition fees for international students at postgraduate level are NOK 102,000 per year (paid in two installments). Approximately $11,410 / € 10,330*
MSc in Business Analytics: NOK 108,000 per year (paid in two installments). Approximately $12,100 / € 10,940*

How to apply
You can apply online, and will need to submit:

  • GMAT score (recommend 600) or GRE score (recommend 152 in the quantitative reasoning category and 158 in verbal) or CAT score
  • TOEFL (at least 90 if internet-based, 575 if written, 233 if computer-based) or IELTS (at least 6.5)
  • Letter of motivation
  • CV
  • Financial declaration
  • Copy of your passport
