The Bachelor of Journalism incorporates foundations in journalistic traditions with emerging media trends. Students will learn about news writing, broadcast reporting, photography, media rounds and industries, digital publication and design, media ethics and law. Students can undertake specialized subjects such as Foreign Correspondence; Fashion, Travel and Sport Writing; Multimedia Production; Photojournalism; Creative Non-Fiction and Fiction Writing; Social Media and Citizen Journalism. Students will have the opportunity to report for local, national and international media outlets throughout their degree and can undertake internships in Australia or internationally in places like New York, Washington and London. The Bachelor of Laws provides students with a thorough grounding in essential areas of substantive law and access to a wide choice of law elective subjects, including the option of completing a specialization. An integrated skills and professionalism program in the degree focus on core legal skills essential to the practice of law.
