Academic Requirement:

104–120 UCAS tariff points from a minimum of two A-levels or equivalent and GCSE English Language and Mathematics grade 4 or equivalent (*)

  • 104–120 UCAS tariff point equivalencies include (but aren’t limited to):
    • Vietnamese High School Diploma or equivalent and successful completion of British University Vietnam’s Pathway to University Programme The Business School Stream: Students with overall score of 40% and no component less than 40%
    • International Baccalaureate (Diploma): A minimum overall score of 28
    • Cambridge International Pre-U Diploma: 104–120 UCAS tariff points from a minimum of two principal subjects
  • GCSE Mathematics grade 4 equivalencies include (but aren’t limited to):
    • Vietnamese equivalent of Senior Secondary School Diploma, Grade 4 in year 12

(*) IGCSE Mathematics Grade 4 requirement is not applicable for applicants who have successfully completed BUV’s Pathway to University Programme.

English language Requirement

IELTS Academic (UKVI or non-UKVI) 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component or equivalent

  • Equivalencies include (but aren’t limited to):
    • TOEFL iBT (including Special Home Edition) with the following minimum scores: Total score 60, Listening 7, Reading 8, Speaking 16, Writing 18
    • Pearson PTE Academic (online test not accepted) with the following minimum scores: Total score 59, and min. 59 in each component for all
    • GCSE/IGCSE English Language /First language/Second language taught and assessed in English): Grade 4/C
