Biotechnology applies principles of chemistry, biochemistry, and biology to study and engineer living organisms or their parts for applications in medicine, agriculture, environmental systems and industry. Explore areas such as genetic and metabolic engineering, designer drugs, novel foods, regenerative medicine, and applied microbiology and fermentation.
