Chirchik State Pedagogical University

Chirchik State Pedagogical University (former Chirchik State Pedagogical Institute of Tashkent region ) was established on July 27, 2017, and during the past short period, the university has been carrying out a number of works on the fundamental improvement of the system of highly qualified personnel training and the development of scientific potential.

The university has 11 faculties, academic lyceums, and technical schools. Within 5 years, the number of faculties increased to 11 and the number of departments increased to 39, in undergraduate education the number of majors increased to 31, and the number of master's specialties increased to 19. Also, based on the 3+1 joint educational program, personnel training was launched in 5 undergraduate education areas. 3 technical schools were established at the university.

University has its own unique library, and it is set to operate in 2 shifts. Bookshelves with QR codes for 9424 titles of textbooks and educational literature have been launched in all faculties.

The number of teachers with a scientific degree at the university has increased almost 10 times over the past 5 years. During the past 5 years, 111 teachers of the university defended their doctorate theses. In 2017-2022, about 12,000 scientific works were published by university professors and teachers. The fact that more than 800 scientific articles have been published in international scientific and technical databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and high impact-factor scientific journals shows that the scientific and research work carried out at the university has its prestige in the international sphere. In addition, the scientific team of the university published about 150 monographs in the last three years, and received more than 100 patents, references,  and certificates for utility models. In 2017-2022, about 20 national and international scientific conferences were organized at the university, and more than 100 foreign experts participated in these conferences with their lectures.

In order to increase the scientific potential of the university, professors and teachers with degrees from the leading higher education institutions of the republic were invited to work and new scientific schools have been created. At the moment, 108 Ph.D. students, intern researchers, and independent researchers are studying in post-secondary educational institutes of the university. Three academic councils were established at the university, and more than 170 researchers have defended their doctoral theses in these academic councils. 7 scientific laboratories and 18 scientific centers have been established on the basis of 25 departments in the university system, and today a total of 318 professors, doctoral students, masters, and students are engaged in scientific research in these laboratories and centers.

The 'Innovative Cluster of Pedagogical Education' system has been developed at the university to work with students and implement activities in the spiritual and educational sphere s . Based on this system, the following spiritual and educational activities are carried out:

The first direction is the direction of systematic development of the 'Mentor-Apprentice' program. Based on this system, the 'Student as a mentor, student as an apprentice' system was introduced at the university. This system allows the student to live in a team environment of mutual cooperation and friendship. Also, with the help of this direction, students are helped to master the sciences and perform scientific laboratory work together.

The second direction is the direction of realizing talents by effectively organizing students' free time. The main scope of work in this direction is directly related to activities within the framework of 5 important initiatives put forward by the President of Uzbekistan.

The third direction is the direction of attracting students to useful work and training them in additional professions. In this regard, subjects of useful employment of students and new modern educational resources were created at the university.
