In the future, we will increasingly depend on structures on the water for energy and food. Maritime Technology concerns all floating structures on the water. Think of floating wind farms, solar panels, seaweed farms and ports at sea. Installation vessels are also of great importance, for example to construct these floating structures or to install structures that can extract alternative raw materials from the seabed.

The sea offers a great opportunity in the transition to a more sustainable world. During the bachelor's degree in Maritime Technology, you will learn step by step how to design and make all the floating structures required for this as an engineer. And you will look for technical solutions for making ships more sustainable. You will lay the foundation for further development and specialization in a master's degree, for example in the direction of Marine Technology, Offshore & Dredging Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
