The Arab department at ENS-Bouzaréah ensures training teachers at three levels : primary : three years of training ;middle : four years of trainig ;and secondary :five years. It also offers Master courses in two specialities : Arabic language didactics and Algerian literature issues. In both license and Master degrees, there are major modules including language, literary, didactics and methodological subjects and complementary subjects entaling Islamic sciences subjects, history psychologyand educational sciences. As for the master’s degree content, the main objective is to develop students’ critical and research skills to prepare them as novice researchers. By the end of each degree, students are required to prepare a final studies project (for the license) and a thesis (for their Master’s degree) and do a practical training in schools as necessary accomplishment of their license.
