In an industry that's becoming increasingly driven by machine-based learning, the program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of how to analyse and build artificial intelligence and algorithms, and how this can help businesses to work more efficiently and generate better results.
The BSc Computer Science degree program provides an in-depth study of the theory, design and application of computer systems, Artificial Intelligence, and Cyber Security. Students develop the skills needed to design, create, administer, and apply such systems to any field.
Graduates are able to engage in careers in many sectors of the economy such as banking, FinTech, healthcare and Bio-informatics, education, game development, manufacturing, retail, advertising, government, and many others.
The Computer Science program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, abet.org.
The Computer Science program is also fully accredited by the National Commission for Academic Accreditation & Assessment (NCAAA).
The CS program has two concentrations: “Artificial Intelligence (AI)", “Cyber Security (CS)", in addition to a no concentration option.

What level of English is required to study at Effat University?
All Effat University programs require a minimum level of English Proficiency. Please see the program pages to be familiar with the entry level of English at https://www.effatuniversity.edu.sa/english/academics/pages/default.aspx
Effat University offers a foundation program if the applicants did not achieve the minimum scores in the iBT TOFEL or IELTS test or the LinguaSkill Placement tests. They will be admitted to Foundation 1 and 2 (two semesters) or Foundation 2 only (one semester) at Effat English Academy. They will enroll in the college level after successfully passing the foundation program.
Can non-Saudi enroll at Effat University?
Yes, all nationalities are welcome to join Effat University.
