EURECOM is a French engineering school (Grande Ecole) with a strong international perspective, and as such has been playing a key role in the international higher education landscape for more than 25 years.
EURECOM is part of the Institut Mines-Télécom school group, and is a founding member of the SophiaTech Campus in Sophia Antipolis, the largest Science and Technology Information campus in France. EURECOM is also a member of the Secured Communication Solutions (SCS) competitiveness cluster.
EURECOM's teaching and research activities are organized around three flourishing fields: Digital Security, Communication Systems, and Data Science.
Created in 1991 as a consortium with French and foreign academic and industrial partners, the school has always boasted an unwavering innovative spirit. Its “3i” strategy is structured around three areas: EURECOM’s international scope, ties with industry (supported by its European founding members and network of partners), and a high-level academic program combining technology and the study of the social, professional and legal environments. Today, the “3i” strategy still defines EURECOM as tomorrow’s university.
EURECOM offers an advanced training program attentive to the challenges of industry through a unique consortium model that fosters close and long-term ties with industrials.
