The BFA in Theatre Design is a very intense, full-time, demanding program offering specializations in scenic design, lighting design and costume design. Students work with award winning faculty designers in small group classes and one-on-one projects. The program includes Main Stage and Studio Theatre design opportunities, off-campus internships and a final senior project as well as workshops in resume and portfolio preparation. The Department of Theatre is a member of KCACTF (the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival) and is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre.
