Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Environmental Studies - Natural Resources Sciences Major

The Natural Resource Sciences major within the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Environmental Studies degree focuses on the environmental and natural resource sciences and would be suitable for students interested in career related to natural resources conservation, ecosystem restoration, environmental pollution management, and non-renewable and renewable energy resources. The major requirements are similar to the requirements of the existing B.S. Environmental Studies degree program, which has been in place for over 40 years. Students will require lower division pre-requisite courses in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Statistics. Students will then take a series of required upper division courses in Environmental Sciences, Ecology, Environmental Economics, Policy, Earth and Energy Resources, Water Resources, and Biological Resources.
