The agricultural sector faces several significant challenges in the future from climate change to floods and droughts, an ever-increasing world population and changes in European policies. These factors contribute to a sector that needs graduates who possess well developed business skills combined with a thorough understanding of the agricultural business sector to respond to these constraints. These courses cover a range of both agricultural and business subjects that will enable students to understand the agri-business sector. Students who undertake the BSc degree (also referred to as an Ordinary degree) will typically complete their award in four years (including an industrial placement year), with successful completion of the award graded as either a pass (with commendation) or pass.
