Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) is a science and technology University located in the heart
of Iloilo City, Philippines. The University is composed of five campuses
located in Iloilo City, Miagao, Barotac Nuevo, Dumangas, and Leon. It started
as a trade school 116 years ago. In June 2013, by virtue of Republic Act 10595, the school was converted into a state university known as the Iloilo Science
and Technology University.
ISAT U has a vision to be the leading
science and technology university in Southeast Asia by 2030. Its mission is to
provide quality and relevant advanced education, higher technological, professional instruction and training in arts, sciences, education, architecture, engineering, agriculture, forestry, and other fields of study thereby
producing locally oriented, globally competitive and eco-friendly human
resources. Upholding the core values of integrity, commitment, accountability, responsiveness and excellence, the University is also promoting research and
development programs to advance science and technology and is continually undertaking
sustainable extension and production activities.
The University has around 17, 000
students enrolled in various programs across all campuses such as engineering, architecture, industrial technology, hospitality and business, education, sciences, languages among others, that seek to teach, touch and transform lives
in the Philippines and beyond.
