The Bachelor of Science in Biology (Microbiology) offered by Biology Department in the College of Science at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University aims to prepare a scientifically competent graduates in the biological sciences. Our graduates are equipped with the knowledge and skills that would allow better serve the local, regional, and global community and solve its problem and ensure the sustainable development of its resources. The focus of the biology program on the Arabian Gulf because of its location on the Gulf shorelines. Furthermore, the Arabian is known of its unique terrestrial and marine biodiversity, the wealth of its oil, agricultural resources.

Admission Requirements

The student must holds a high school diploma or its equivalent from inside or outside the Kingdom; Not have been for the student since receiving her high school diploma or its equivalent more than five years; To be a good conduct and behavior; Successfully pass any test or personal interview the University Council may request; Be medically fit; In case of work and employment, the student is requested to get her approval to study from her reference point in any governmental or private sector; Meet any other conditions specified by the University Council at the time of submission; To be a trade-off between the applicants who meet all the requirements according to their grades in high school test certificate, 'Qdraat' (aptitude) test and 'Tahseely' (academic achievement) test; Ought to pass scientific track.
