The mission of the BS Respiratory Therapy and Intensive Care Technology program is to produce highly knowledgeable, skilled, and professional respiratory therapists and intensive care technologists. The program provides training through well-equipped intensive care units and high-dependency units at various tertiary care hospitals. It follows an integrated, problem-based, and student-centered advanced curriculum delivered under the supervision of qualified faculty and supported by advanced skills laboratories to meet the future critical care needs of the community and critically ill patients at the provincial, national, and international levels. Graduates will demonstrate expertise and innovation in diagnosis, teaching, clinical research, and critical care management, contributing to public health and health policy.
